He had also failed the physical test, and his contract with the Patriots had to be terminated. Julian was on his last two years of a $15.5 million contract when it came to an end.

Julian’s career came to an end with the release of a film. He was eventually added to the NFL Draft-A-Thon. Julian shared a photoshopped picture of himself on Twitter on April 30, 2021. It was Brady’s now-famous photo of his face.

Brady’s ‘Casual’ Joke

During their zoom chat, Tom Brady made a casual joke about Edelman’s retirement.

“We know Edelman didn’t retire, let’s be honest. He’s just too scared to tell Bill [Belichick] he wants to come to Tampa. I’ve been there.” – Tom Brady

Of course, Brady’s comment drew a lot of attention to Julian and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They also drew a line between Rob Gronkowski and them.

Julian’s Response
