Tom Brady made a joke about Julian’s retirement problems back on the radio show. Brady and Pat McAfee spoke about how Julian Edelman didn’t retire and that he would join him.
Indeed, it sparked a slew of rumors linking him to Rob Gronkowski, the Patriots’ tight end.

Julian Edelman announced his retirement from the NFL field at the start of the second week of April 2021. He cited a knee injury that cut his 2020 season short after just six games as the reason for his retirement at the time.
He had also failed the physical test, and his contract with the Patriots had to be terminated. Julian was on his last two years of a $15.5 million contract when it came to an end.
Julian’s career came to an end with the release of a film. He was eventually added to the NFL Draft-A-Thon. Julian shared a photoshopped picture of himself on Twitter on April 30, 2021. It was Brady’s now-famous photo of his face.

During their zoom chat, Tom Brady made a casual joke about Edelman’s retirement.

Overall, Julian Edelman debunks the speculation with a Twitter post that basically says he’s not going anywhere.
Edelman has now shown his commitment to the team. Not to mention, since his retirement, he has been using the hashtag #FoxboroForever.
Furthermore, he said that he had withdrawn due to his injury and that his return does not compensate for this. Julian Edelman portrayed his strong decision to hang up his boots in general. In the meantime, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having a fantastic season. Antonio Brown has also recently joined the team.
