When Jordan Bolger was seven years old, the world-renowned writer and dub poet Benjamin Zephaniah paid a visit to his primary school. He had no idea he’d be playing the famous star’s son ‘Isiah’ in Peaky Blinders, a hit British television drama. The TV show’s script, set in the aftermath of World War I, came Jordan’s way and changed his life forever.
He learned about the Peaky Blinders ad, in which the producers were looking for a mixed-race boy with a Birmingham accent.
Jordan then assumed that the requirements only applied to him and went for an audition. By this point, the season had completed successfully, so he made a point of watching the entire season in two days.
Against all odds, he was called to join the team the very next day.
And with that, his brilliant portrayal of ‘Isiah’ paved the way for films and television shows such as 2017’s iBoy, 2014’s The 100, and the feature drama Scarborough.
Aside from acting, he has always enjoyed dancing. He even received a diploma in dance from Tring Park School.
Biography and Parents
Jordan grew up with his older brother, Daniell, in Radford, Coventry, England. Daniell, a criminology graduate, has an incredible bond with his brother.
Jordan attended Holy Family, Christ The King, and Cardinal Newman schools in Coventry.
Liz, Jordan’s mother, is a gym instructor and a single mother who raised her two sons on her own. Jordan will be eternally grateful to his mother for this.
Jordan remembers to wish on her Father’s Day as well, because she missed both of her parents. She never let them feel the absence of a father.
When asked about his father, he describes the situation as complicated. Jordan grew up not knowing much about his father.
He stated that the Jamaican man is not related to him. Although his father made no contributions to his upbringing, he did play an important role in providing him with a multi-racial ethnicity.

Jordan, who stands at 5 feet and 10 inches (1.78 meters), must have been inspired by his gym instructor mother to have such a well-groomed body.
