Earnings and Net Worth

Despite his cerebral palsy, Jason was welcomed into a career field that was previously inaccessible to those with disabilities. He became a real-life role model for many differently abled people around the world.

Throughout his journey, Jason proved the people wrong by fighting socially, mentally, and physically with his disability. Those who thought Jason couldn’t make it probably became envious of him as he continued to improve in his field, reaching new heights of success each time.

Furthermore, his success may have only added to the envy, as he amassed a sizable net worth over the course of his career. While the exact figure is unknown, the average ESPN announcer salary is estimated to be $103K.

Jason Benetti: Family, Eye Surgery

In 1983, Jason Benetti was born ten weeks premature to his parents, Rob and Sue Benetti. Soon after his birth, he was diagnosed with a lung disorder and was dependent on oxygen machines.

As a result, Rob and Sue worried that they might not be able to bring their son home. In addition, 40 days before his birth, his father, Rob, was involved in an accident that left him injured and disabled for three and a half years.

These two factors became pivotal in their family’s life. Jason was discharged from the University of Chicago Hospital after three months. The doctors, however, warned the couple that Jason could be developmentally disabled.

Rob and Jason spent time together at home after they were released from the hospital. Jason was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy, a neurological disorder affecting muscle coordination, movement, and balance.

As a result, he needed numerous surgeries, including eye surgery, heel cord surgery, and hamstring surgery.

Relationship Status: Single?

When it came to his love life, Jason never revealed anything to the public. However, on August 1, 2016, he announced the name of his girlfriend as “Alberta” and that she lived in Vancouver in a tweet.

However, it is unclear whether he is still dating her. Furthermore, his busy professional life appears to be keeping his mind occupied, as Jason has not revealed whether or not he plans to marry.

His fans may be waiting for him to reveal who his future wife is and when he plans to marry. But for the time being, they can only be patient and wait.
