Who is James Redford?
James Redford (born May 5, 1962 – died October 16, 2020) was a New York City-based documentary filmmaker, environmental activist, and philanthropist. Furthermore, he was best known as Robert Redford’s son.
According to the Tribune, he rose to prominence with his first directorial effort, 2012’s “The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia,” which was inspired by his son, Dylan, who suffered from dyslexia in high school. He also used to spread the word about organ donation.
His previous liver condition had been revealed two years prior, and the cancer was discovered in his bile duct last November while he was awaiting a liver transplant.
