Smith is married to Fortune Feimster, the love of her life. The pair originally met five years ago, shortly after marriage equality was declared legal. Feimster stated that she attended Chicago Pride and met Jacquelyn right away. She went on to say that she arrived out of nowhere and that she thought she had known her forever.
