Kali Uchis, a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, rose to prominence after releasing her Drunken Babble mixtape in 2012. In 2015, she published her debut EP, Por Vida, and in 2018, she released her first full album, Isolation.
With her second studio album, Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonois), Uchis’ career took a step forward. It was also her first Spanish-language production. The album’s song “Telepatia” was a huge smash, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.
Her singing isn’t the only thing that has piqued people’s interest. Her personal life has piqued public interest, and she has been romantically linked to Don Toliver for months. So yet, neither Uchis nor the rapper of “What You Need” have verified the reports.

Relationship Status
After Toliver released the music video for his single “Drugs N Hella Melodies” on June 18, 2021, fans assumed he and Uchis were dating. She was featured in the song and appeared in the video as well.
Even before the music video, the two had stirred romance suspicions as the rapper shared photos of his 27th birthday celebration with Uchis, which fueled relationship rumors.
Kali Uchis’ Relationship With Yung Gleesh
When Uchis was accused of assault in 2018, he was with Yung Gleesh. Gleesh, whose real name is Asa Asuncion, was accused of attacking a lady in downtown Austin in 2015, according to a report by Statesman.
He had performed at the South by Southwest music festival and stayed at the home of a mutual acquaintance of his and the woman prior to the event. Gleesh was sentenced to five years in jail for attempted assault after a friend of the victim testified against him.
Uchis told the jury that her boyfriend had grown up and was now eligible for probation. She also stated that Gleesh’s rap career had been wrecked as a result of the charges. Due to personal issues, the two later parted ways on good terms.

Kali Uchis and Omar Apollo’s Affair
Following her breakup with Gleesh, Uchis was linked to singer Omar Apollo after he posted a photo of her and him at a pool party. She later shared a story on her Instagram Live in which she expressed her astonishment at being mistaken for a couple with Apollo by a restaurant server.
In an interview with Steve Lacy for Interview Magazine in October 2020, Uchis revealed that she did not date Apollo.
