Jekalyn Carr, an award-winning recording singer, has been in a relationship with American footballer Jawaan Taylor. Not only is the gospel singer dating, but she has also intimated that she and her lover are planning to marry.

In a social media post, the young gospel singer hinted that she was thinking about marrying her partner. Carr wished her boyfriend Taylor a “happy birthday” on Instagram on November 25, 2020. In the caption of the photo, the gifted singer thanked Taylor for inspiring and encouraging her, as well as praying for her success.
She delivered the bombshell by using the hashtag ‘#Dating2Marry’ after the appreciation. When deciphered, the hashtag meant that she is dating Jawaan with the intention of marrying him and making him her husband.
As a result, it’s safe to assume that the pair has pondered marrying and transitioning their relationship into a married one.
Jekalyn Carr’s boyfriend was the first person to see her on Instagram
Jawaan, Jekalyn Carr’s boyfriend, came discovered the recording artist’s singing video while surfing through Instagram at home during the off-season.
The American player, enthralled by the young woman’s talent and attractiveness, showed the video to his mother and auntie, who were also mesmerized by the young woman’s talent and beauty. Carr’s relatives even suggested that she “would make a terrific girl” for Taylor.
Later, the Jacksonville Jaguars athlete considered striking up a discussion with the singer, who was 23 at the time. Jawaan summoned the confidence to DM her on Instagram after feeling compelled to do so.
The Changing Your Story singer is reputed to dislike boys who slide into her DM, but there was something different about the muscular athlete, as Carr explained on The Willie Moore Show. The rest, as they say, is history. The two hit all the right notes and discovered their mutual interests and affinities, which led to a romance. They met up frequently and told Taylor’s mother about their relationship status.
It was just a matter of time until their romance became public: in October 2020, they made it official via an Instagram post.
Jekalyn Carr became interested in singing after attending church
Jekalyn Carr was born on April 22, 1997, in Arkansas, a southern United States state bordering the Mississippi River. Allen Lindsey Carr and Jennifer Denise Carr are her parents. Allen Lindsey Carr Jr. and Allundria Carr are the gospel singer’s two siblings.
Carr began volunteering in a neighborhood church choir when he was five years old and finally learned to sing. She developed became the primary chorister in the neighborhood church as a result of her singing practice.
The gospel singer was already a sought-after speaker at the age of 13, and with her single Greater Is Coming, she made the transition from speaking to singing at the age of 15. She had already won her first Stellar Award a year before.
