Since his retirement, Brendan Schaub has shifted his focus to podcasting and stand-up comedy, where he has had remarkable success.
Schaub is married to actress and sports presenter Joanna Zanella. Tiger Schaub (born 2016) and Boston Schaub (born 2017) are the couple’s children (born 2019). Zanella is a sports presenter as well as an entrepreneur.
Career
Zanella was born in West Hollywood, California, on May 5, 1988, although she spent her childhood in Mexico, where her family had relocated. She returned to the United States after 9 years in Mexico and began working as a child actress. She studied acting and appeared in commercials and radio advertisements.
Zanella’s first film was Un día en el banco, a 2009 bank robbery film in which she played Jazmin. In Sin Verguenza, the sportscaster had a recurring role. She also appeared in the films Reality Terror Night (2013) and Sleeping Dogs Lie (both 2013).
Zanella had always enjoyed athletics, but it was only in high school that she began to take them seriously. Her passion for sports led her to work as a sports reporter, covering events such as baseball, UFC, and soccer across the United States and Mexico.
She spoke to Voyage LA about her profession and passion for the UFC. As a sports announcer, I was well-known in the sports community for covering significant soccer matches for Mexico, and then I moved on to covering Major League Soccer (Major Soccer League). The UFC was an important aspect of my career, and it eventually became one of my favorite sports.

Brendan Schaub Launched Her Own Fashion Line
Joanna Zanella is a businesswoman as well as a sports presenter and actor. JZSTYLE, her own clothing line, was launched by her. She’s dabbled in interior design as well.
I enjoy fashion so much that I founded my own clothing brand, JZSTYLE, which I must admit I have neglected now that I am a mother of two. I am also studying interior design since I enjoy making a house into a home and giving it life.
Because of Covid-19, a marriage was saved. Zanella and Schaub started dating in 2014, and two years later, they welcomed their first child together. In 2017, they got engaged, and she announced it on Instagram. The couple eventually married in a private ceremony attended by just close family and friends. For the sake of privacy, they did not reveal the details of their special day.
Brendan Schaub revealed in September 2019 that his marriage to Zanella was having problems and that things had gotten worse. While he didn’t go into specifics, the former UFC fighter did say that Covid-19 was essential in saving his marriage.
Before dating Zanella, Schaub was in a relationship with Ronda Rousey, a UFC and WWE fighter. The podcaster stated that he and his ex-girlfriend broke up because they weren’t compatible, claiming that he was too independent for her. Yes males were her preference.
