Career
Tylo’s film career started in 1984 with the slasher film The Initiation. In the film, she was credited as Deborah Morehart, and she had not yet adopted the name Hunter Tylo. Tylo started to receive a lot more offers soon after, and she often appeared in American daytime soap operas.
All My Children was her first such job, which she had in 1985. Unfortunately, she was fired from the show in 1987 due to a friendship with fellow cast member Michael Tylo. She went on to play an antagonist in the TV show Days of our Lives after that. She first appeared on the show in 1989 and left after her character was killed off in 1990.
Tylo considered leaving acting entirely due to her lack of success on television and enrolled at Fordham University to obtain a degree in medicine. She was offered the part of Dr. Taylor Hayes in The Bold and the Beautiful right around this time. Tylo accepted the part after initially declining it, and it was a great fit for her. After her second divorce, she had a couple of other boyfriends, but none of them lasted. Hunter then married Gersson Archila in a private ceremony in Las Vegas on November 29, 2009. Their union, however, was annulled in 2018 after a court found her husband guilty of various offenses, including concealing a criminal record from his wife.
