Holly Madison: Dream Disneyland Wedding Ended in Divorce

Holly Madison and Pasquale Rotella, who is now divorced, married on September 10, 2013.

A couple of Holly Madison reportedly married in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride’s Blue Bayou restaurant at Disneyland. The grand ceremony was attended by approximately 150 guests, the majority of whom were close friends and family.

After dating for two years, Madison and her ex-husband Rotella, the founder of Insomniac Events, planned a fairy-tale wedding.

The television personality wore a custom-designed Gregg Barnes gown — a white, strapless ballgown — on her wedding day. Her appearance was enhanced by a $500,000 diamond tiara that rested on her head.

Meanwhile, the guests were transported by train to the wedding location, where Mickey and Minnie Mouse, as well as Donald and Daisy Duck, were already present.

Later, the newlywed couple and their guests intended to ride Pirates of the Caribbean and see Disneyland’s long-running fire-and-waterworks show Fantasmic!

Madison also took to her blog to show off the official piece of paper, noting that it was the “last wedding prep item taken off the checklist.”

The couple had two kids

Madison and Rotella had two children: Rainbow Aurora Rotella, a daughter, and Forest Leonardo Antonio Rotella, a son.

Rainbow, the former couple’s first child, was born in March 2013, six months before they married.

The couple welcomed a baby boy in August 2016.

“What a fantastic week. A crazy, stressful start gave way to this magical moment. “First, a five-year-long indictment against me was finally dropped, and yesterday Holly, Rainbow, and I welcomed a healthy 8-pound, 14-ounce baby boy into the family,” Rotella wrote on Instagram.

Divorce was the result of the marriage

Even though their marriage appeared to be attractive from the outside, it was not.

Madison and Rotella divorced in September 2018 after nearly five years of marriage.

Rotella even confirmed the split on Instagram, writing, “It is with love in our hearts and a deep respect for one another that Holly and I have amicably decided to separate.”

He continued in the post, which included a sweet family photo, that the couple is “forever partners and parents to two beautiful children.” He then stated that they were fully committed to raising their children in a loving and positive environment.

Not only that, but he didn’t forget to praise his ex-wife. He described her as a talented woman with a lovely soul.

The divorce was finally finalized in February 2019, but the documents about their two children’s support, property, and custody remained sealed.

Madison and Rotella are currently co-parenting their children, as expected, with the proud mother of the two occasionally posting pictures with the children on social media.

In her September 2021 Instagram post, she shared a photo of herself with her two children — their faces obscured by emojis — on a trip to Disneyland.
