Here’s What Madonna Had To Say To Tory Lanez After He Illegally Used Her Music!

Madonna, the Queen of Pop, has chastised Canadian rapper Tory Lanez for using her 1985 song ‘Into the Groove’ without permission. Lanez allegedly borrowed her music without her permission in one of his tracks, she said.

The rapper apparently borrowed one of her evergreen tunes without her permission in his newly released new album.

Tory Lanez’s actions were condemned by Madonna

The singer moved to her official Instagram account and commented on one of Lanez’s pictures, stating that he had illegally exploited her work.

The singer implied in her now-deleted statement that she tried messaging the rapper secretly at first. However, she was forced to speak about the situation in public due to her inability to contact him.

“Read your messages for unauthorized use of my song and get into the rhythm!” she commented.

Lanez’s new track, ‘Pluto’s Last Comet,’ sounded similar to her 1985 hit tune, according to the singer. She co-wrote and produced the popular song “Desperately Seeking Susan,” which was featured in the 1985 film Desperately Seeking Susan and starred Madonna.

Similarly, Lanez wrote the song in question, which was produced by Orlando tha Great and Chaz Jackson.

‘Pluto’s Last Comet’ is featured on Lanez’s new album, Alone at Prom, which was published in 2021.
It’s unknown whether Lanez was aware of the popular singer’s public remark.

According to Billboard, his courtroom trial on felony assault and gun charges for allegedly shooting fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion in 2020 has kept him in the news throughout December.

Mega Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez

The rapper allegedly requested Stallion to dance before shooting at her feet, according to the BBC. Lanez, whose true name is Daystar Peterson, is suspected of shooting the American rapper on July 12, 2020, after a party in the Hollywood Hills.

While driving away from Kylie Jenner’s party, the victim and the defendant got into a furious disagreement.

According to the official police account, after their dispute, Stallion attempted to exit the vehicle, but Lanez fired a revolver at her, demanding that she dance.

According to Stallion, she spilled a lot of blood from her feet and fell to the ground before crawling to a nearby driveway. During the court session, Lanez expressed his regret for his acts and offered her money in exchange for keeping the matter secret.

Lanez, on the other hand, has disputed the assault and weapon charges.

Madonna’s New Music Is On Its Way

The renowned pop artist recently teased her fans that she is back in the studio, and that she is already working on her 2022 studio album. Madama X, her most recent album, was released in 2019. Madonna is working on new music with rapper Swae Lee.

On December 20, 2021, the ‘4 minutes’ hitmaker uploaded a series of photos to her Instagram account depicting her inside a recording studio. Her social media post was accompanied with a sufficiently long caption.

She wrote, “So nice to be back in the studio doing Music again.” She also stated that she would surprise her admirers in the coming new year.

Interestingly, the pop icon mentioned rapper Swae Lee, voice producer Lauren Delia, and guitarist Jozzy in the same writing, implying a possible collaboration. In addition, the aforementioned musicians were spotted with Madonna in the photos she provided.

This isn’t the first time Madonna and Lee have worked together in the same studio. They previously collaborated on her song ‘Crave,’ which appears on her 2019 album Madame X.
