Chumlee’s Weight Loss Method
In January 2019, it appeared that the TV personality had made a New Year’s resolution to take his health seriously and was ready to embark on a new adventure with zeal and determination. Gastric Sleeve Surgery at Blossom Bariatrics at Warm Springs Surgical Center in Las Vegas was one of the most severe procedures he chose to get back in shape.
Chumlee weighed 342 pounds before the treatment, but he reduced 38 pounds solely by following a pre-op diet. He was down to 230 pounds a week later, thanks to the procedure he chose.
His ultimate objective was to lose 200 pounds, so he continued on the physicians’ regimen for another three weeks. Since a result, he was able to get near to his goal weight, as his final weight after the treatment was 212 pounds. So, what was Chumlee’s total weight loss? According to an exclusive story from TMZ released on October 10, 2021, the reality star weighed 190 pounds. He shed 160 pounds in an effort to not only get but also stay well.
Chumlee’s Best Friend Motivated Him to Stay Fit
Chumlee revealed in a 2014 interview that his childhood best buddy and Pawn Stars co-star Corey Harrison had pushed him to lose weight. Harrison was also overweight at the time, and he was on a mission to lose weight.
In order to eliminate the extra weight from his body, he opted to have lap-band surgery in 2014. He lost over 190 pounds and kept it off thanks to the surgery and a healthy diet and exercise routine.
