On April 23, 2020, the lovely pair was seen celebrating Patel’s 30th birthday. In Los Angeles, the actor and his lady love were seen celebrating his birthday with drinks. They were celebrating the actor’s big 30 with gin drinks, according to Dailymail. Colorful helium balloons wishing the actor a ‘Happy birthday’ added to the celebration.
The actor was dressed in a pair of casual sky blue cargo pants and a yellow loose top. His lady looked stunning in a black sleeveless top and geometric print shorts.
Cobham-Hervey affectionately put her head on her beau’s shoulder in one of the photos, and the two of them shared a tiny smile. Patel and Cobham-Hervey, who met on the set of Hotel Mumbai in 2016 and began dating soon after, returned in May 2020 for another rare appearance. With face masks and gloves on, the pair took every precaution to avoid contracting the coronavirus.
The Lion star was photographed with his mother Anita and girlfriend in 2017. On the walk, the duo was inseparable as they walked arm-in-arm. The star placed his arms around both his mother and his girlfriend at one point.

Until 2014, the actor was married to Freida Pinto, his Slumdog Millionaire co-star. The couple began dating in 2008 and ended their relationship after six years together. Their split was reported to be amicable.
In 2015, the actor recalled on one of his more amusing dates with Pinto. Photographer Mario Testino boldly asked Patel why a gorgeous young woman like Pinto was with an average-looking person like him at one of the fashion events he attended in London.
‘Are you the one dating Freida Pinto?’ this fellow asks as I sit there. And I’m like, ‘I guess,'” she says. ‘Why?’ he asks, his face flushed with embarrassment. How? Why is she interested in you? ‘She is stunning.’ ‘She is,’ I declare. ‘But you’re so, ugh, so normal-looking,’ he continues.
While the actor refused to discuss the reasons for their breakup, he did reveal that his relationship with Pinto was his first significant one. “Pinto was one of the most influential people in my life,” the actor continued.
