Spencer Paysinger is a happily married man and the inspiration for the sports drama series All American. Blair Paysinger, a graphic designer and entrepreneur, is the former American football linebacker’s wife.
Spencer Paysinger is the co-owner of Hilltop Coffee and Kitchen, a restaurant franchise with locations in View Park-Windsor Hills, Inglewood, and Glassell Park, and the developer of Post 21, an online shopping platform.
In Palm Springs, a Dream Wedding
They’ve known each other since they were in high school. And they’ve been together for almost five years. On May 27, 2016, they married in a destination ceremony at the La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, California.
The bride wore a sophisticated two-piece gown with a Chantilly lace crop top and a silk organza skirt to their wedding. Blair looked stunning in his tailored green suit and white shirt, which he paired with a vintage pearl tie bar and suede loafers.
The wedding was made even more beautiful by the presence of the couple’s family and close friends. Blair’s mother’s rewrite of the lyrics to ‘Real Good Hands,’ which was sung for the bride’s processional into the courtyard, was the icing on the cake.
A playlist of ’90s R&B hits, a family-style feast of blackened catfish with crawfish étouffée, five nude cakes in three different flavors, and huge Jenga blocks were all highlights of the wedding.
“We chose ‘Love on Top’ by Beyoncé because every time it comes on in the car, we both jam!” Blair commented, impressed with her wedding plans.

In May 2021, they will commemorate their fifth wedding anniversary. Both of them shared a photo on their Instagram accounts, highlighting the joy of being together for five years.
Spencer expressed his dissatisfaction with those who claimed that “marriage meant settling down” in an Instagram post. He iterated, in all caps, that “THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF “SETTLING DOWN” in regard to his images that framed him and his wife five years apart.
Cairo and Madden, the couple’s two gorgeous children, complete the picture. On May 15, 2021, Cairo had her fourth birthday, while Madden celebrated his second in July 2021.

Spencer’s career is the inspiration for ‘All American’
Spencer has recently gotten a lot of press because his life and achievements were used as inspiration for the CW series All American, which premiered in 2018. In 2021, Netflix acquired the series, bringing the former athlete’s life back into the spotlight.
With fictional inputs, the series chronicles the real-life events of Spencer [the character’s name in the series is Spencer James].
