Summer Soltis, an entertainment manager for Destinations by Design, Inc and the co-owner of Girl Boss Productions, has been in a serious relationship with Hal Sparks, who is best known for his role as Michael Novotny on the popular television series Queer as Folk.
Early in 2012, the two began dating. On January 23, 2012, the seasoned actor shared his first photo with his partner. He captioned the photo “love,” and Soltis replied, “Very love.”
The lovebirds haven’t shied away from sharing photos of each other on their social media profiles since the first post, revealing glimpses of their loving bond. Because the couple has been together for so long, the pair’s devoted admirers and followers can’t help but wonder.
Relationship Status
On September 25, 2023, Sparks will become 54 years old. Despite his advanced age, no evidence of his marriage has surfaced on the internet. Having said that, many people presume Soltis is his wife, which is understandable. They’ve been together for more than a decade.
Sparks, on the other hand, has never addressed his girlfriend as his wife. In addition, he has never raved about his wedding or married life on social media or in interviews. As a result, it’s unclear whether they’re husband and wife. One thing is certain, however: they are both parents. From a previous relationship, Spark’s girlfriend had a kid named Ethan McCoy. On December 12, 2001, he was born.
Sparks has a son named Camden Harrison Sparks, who was born in 2011. Sparks has never revealed the identity of Camden’s baby mama, despite the fact that Soltis is not Camden’s original mother. Despite this, he has been outspoken about parenting and how it has affected his life.
Hal Sparks is the father of a child
In a 2013 interview with Life of Dad, the Ohio native waxed poetic about parenthood and revealed that he was always emotionally prepared to have children.
He believed that having a child at the age of 30 was preferable to having one at the age of 20. He went on to say that maturity would aid in the creation of a healthy atmosphere, and that many parents grow after having a kid. As a result, “many first-born children have a vastly different experience than their second or third-born children because their parents are different after that.”
Sparks also spoke on the principles he wished to inculcate in his child. He wished for his son to understand that ignorance was taxing. He also wanted him to develop his profession, know his skills better than anybody else, and use them with ease when they were needed.

People perceive a person to be a genius when they perform things without tension, according to the famous actor. He went on to say that geniuses were those who practiced for longer periods of time than others. Sparks is really proud of his ten-year-old son. He used the hashtag “Proudpapa” in the comment section of an Instagram video of his son practicing baseball on July 2, 2021.
Not to mention that his girlfriend is a close friend of Camden’s, and the two of them live together as a blended family. As a result, it wouldn’t be surprising if the couple decided to marry shortly.
