Glennon Doyle is the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling books Untamed, Love Warrior, and Carry On, Warrior. She is also the founder of Momastery, an online blog, and Together Rising, a nonprofit organization.
Glennon Doyle raises funds for a variety of causes through Together Rising, including supporting homeless children, building a maternal health wing, creating the first opioid recovery home for pregnant teenagers, and providing breast cancer therapy to single mothers.
The activist’s concentration is usually on women’s issues, but it is not restricted to that. Together Rising has raised nearly $30 million to far, all of which has been donated to those in need. Doyle has a strong support system in the form of her three children and her wife, Abby Wambach, who have been there for her through it all. Craig Melton, the author’s ex-husband, is the father of the author’s children.

Doyle and Melton were married in 2002 and had three children together for over 15 years. However, despite the fact that their tiny family appeared to be happy on the outside, the couple had a rocky marriage.
In her second memoir, Love Warrior, she detailed their relationship. They met in a bar in downtown Washington in the early 2000s. They fell in love, but it was not easy for them from the start.
Doyle became pregnant twice before their wedding in 2002, but their first child was aborted. They struggled with communication and Melton’s pornography addiction after her second pregnancy.
The couple began to despise each other, but counseling helped them work through their problems. The author has suffered with a variety of issues in her life, including bulimia, anxiety, and depression, as well as drinking and narcotics.
Her husband’s infidelity, on the other hand, was something she had not anticipated. Carry On, Warrior, Doyle’s debut novel, was performing well on the market. As a result, she was preparing to embark on a promotional tour. However, a week before she left, Melton admitted to being unfaithful to her during their marriage. Their marriage ended as a result of this confession.
Doyle has moved on from Wambach, the former soccer player. Melton, Doyle, and Wambach co-parent the children, with the goal of keeping their children’s life as “uninterrupted as possible.”

Doyle and Wambach met at a librarian convention in 2016, where Doyle was presenting his book Love Warrior. At the same convention, Wambach was promoting her memoir Forward.
Both biographies were about their love, marriage, and separation from their lovers, which was a coincidence. Prior to meeting Wambach, Doyle was unsure of her sexual orientation.
She knew she was supposed to be with the athlete the instant she lay eyes on her. They began communicating to one other, but they never met outside of the convention.
Doyle told Melton a month later that she was in love with Wambach and wanted to separate. Then, in November 2016, Doyle and Wambach began dating, and before the end of the year, both of them had divorced their prior partners.
The couple married in May 2017 and now have three children and two pets in Naples, Florida. The two are activists, and through Together Rising, they reach out to others in need.
