In January 2013, Lane Johnson married Chelsea Goodman. The pair has three children together since their marriage.
Johnson, however, divorced his wife after six years of marriage in 2019 for reasons neither of them have revealed.
Johnson revealed his sadness and anxiety in a tweet in October 2021. He explained that he had kept his problems hidden from his family and friends, and thanked everyone who had helped him. As a result, many have suggested that this may have led to his divorce from his wife. The specific details, however, are unknown.
Lane Johnson and Chelsea Goodman are a husband and wife team
Johnson hasn’t said anything about his friendship with Goodman. They met as athletes at the University of Oklahoma, where they both played football.
Johnson was a football player, whereas Goodman excelled in the high jump. Her father, John Goodman, was an athlete as well. From 1980 through 1985, he was a defensive end with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Goodman has always been a strong supporter of Johnson, and she even went to the NFL Draft with him.
Johnson was chosen into the NFL the same year they married.

They are the parents of three children
Johnson’s family and NFL career both began around the same time. In August 2013, he and Goodman had their first child together, son David Chase Johnson.
David was born on the day of his preseason game. David, like Johnson, was born with a congenital deformity called a clubfoot. David was in a cast from the time he was six days old until three months old, when he received corrective surgery. By the time he was ten months old, his clubfoot had been corrected.
Johnson later stated that becoming a father had taught him a lot about life and given him a lot of joy. “Since having him, I feel like it’s been a true light, just learning to think of someone else more than yourself.”
He also talked about his feelings toward his family and how it made him appreciate what he had even more. “There are a lot of single guys in the NFL that live lavishly.” If you don’t have anybody to share it with, I feel like it’s truly nothing.”
Johnson and Goodman became parents for the second time in February 2016, three years after the birth of their son. He announced the happy news on Twitter, along with a photo of himself and his newborn.
Journey Lane Johnson, the offensive tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles, revealed his daughter’s name. He also stated that both the mother and the daughter were in good health. Johnson acknowledged his excitement of winning Super Bowl LII by uploading a nice photo of him and his daughter savoring the moment.
Johnson and Goodman’s family of four extended by one in March 2019 when she gave birth to Channing McCoy Johnson, their third child.
Goodman’s Instagram is brimming with photos of their three children, and she writes about them constantly.
In December 2020, she also posted a family photo to Instagram, captioning it with the phrase “blessed.”
