Since 2016, Lisa Boothe has been a daytime and primetime contributor on FOX News Channel, giving political analysis and commentary.
The political commentator has recently drawn a lot of attention for her opposition to COVID-19 vaccines. Boothe appeared on Unfiltered with Dan Bongino on October 23, 2021, and boasted to Dan Bongino about being unvaccinated. She also stated that she had no intention of obtaining the shot as a “big middle finger to Joe Biden’s tyranny.”
Biden went back on his word and ordered immunizations for nearly 100 million Americans, or two-thirds of the workforce.
Boothe criticized the Biden administration, rallying against the vice president’s attempt to “manage” and “force his opponents to surrender to him.”
Despite her outspokenness, Fox & Friends Sunday hinted that Boothe might be a guest contributor on the show.
When viewers turned in, they noticed that Katie Pavlich had taken her position.
Netizens speculated that she had been sacked from FOX News for her anti-vaccination attitude, or that she had left the show herself.
What happened to Fox News’ Lisa Boothe?
Boothe returned as a guest host on Fox’s The Ingraham Angle after a two-week hiatus. Her appearance occurred three days after she revealed on Twitter, rather obliquely, that she had contracted COVID-19.
She also took advantage of the chance to reiterate her views on immunizations. The vaccine was unneeded, according to the guest host, because it was not 100 percent successful in avoiding infection.
She then conceded in a tweet that obtaining COVID was difficult and that she understood why no one wanted to contract it. She did add, though, that the contagious virus was “kind of inevitable.”
Prior to these tweets, the political analyst penned an opinion piece for Newsweek explaining why she was so opposed to immunizations. She echoed what she claimed in her tweets and backed up her claims with facts from the paper.
She addressed allegations that persons who have been vaccinated are less likely to be hospitalized than those who have not been vaccinated. She used a Gallup poll to support her statements, claiming that unvaccinated people had a 0.89 percent chance of being hospitalized.
She also asserted that 40 percent of COVID deaths in Maryland were among fully vaccinated people, according to Dr. Robert Redfield, a senior advisor to Maryland Governor Larry Hogan.
In her opinion piece, Boothe determined that vaccines were immoral since they impacted on one’s freedom.
‘The View’ Host Lisa Boothe
Although Boothe is certain of her point of view, not everyone agrees with her. Booth was rumored to be in talks to take Meghan McCain’s position on ABC’s The View.
Along with Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, and Sunny Hostin, she was one of dozens who applied to host. Unfortunately, her appearance on the show was rendered pointless as her anti-vaccine stance became public.
This is due to the fact that The View is filmed in New York City, where all private-sector employees are required to have vaccinations.
Furthermore, ABC News’ parent company, The Walt Disney Company, requires all of its U.S. employees to be coronavirus-vaccinated.
