Kimberly Anne ‘Kim’ Scott and Eminem were high school sweethearts. The ex-couple married twice: the first time in 1999 (and divorcing in 2001), and the second time in January 2006. (and divorcing in April of the same year). Since 1989, they’d had an on-again, off-again relationship.
On December 25, 1995, Eminem and Kim welcomed their daughter Haile Jade Scott Mathers into the world. He agreed to joint custody of Hailie after their second divorce in 2006. Eminem also has custody of Alaina, Dawn’s daughter, and Whitney, Kim’s daughter from a previous relationship, in addition to Hailie.
Eminem expressed his pride in his daughter Hailie in a Hotboxin podcast episode released on March 19, 2020. He went on to say that raising children was his greatest achievement.
According to the Daily Mail, Eminem said in the podcast, “No babies, she has a boyfriend, but she’s doing good.” ‘She has unquestionably made me proud.’ She’s a college graduate.’
Eminem also talked about how raising two nieces made him feel accomplished. ‘I also have a niece who I helped raise and who is almost like a daughter to me, and she is 26 years old,’ he said. ‘I also have a younger child, who is now 17 years old.’ So, when I think about my accomplishments, being able to raise children is probably the one I’m most proud of.’
