Early Life
Greta Adah Onieogou was born on March 14, 1991 in St. Petersburg, Russia as Greta Adah Onieogou. Greta’s family relocated to Toronto, Canada, when she was five years old, where she spent most of her upbringing.
She is of mixed ancestry due to her Russian mother and Nigerian father.
Career
Greta Oniegou made her acting debut at the age of fourteen in the feature film Fever Pitch in 2005, alongside Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon. Following that, she starred in minor roles on television shows such as Degrassi: The Next Generation and Naturally, Sadie (2006). Her first recurring appearance on television was as Soraya Duval on the Canadian family drama series Heartland in 2007. (2007-2015).
Greta has also appeared in a number of famous television episodes, including Schitt’s Creek (2017), Murdoch Mysteries (2017), Workin’ Moms (2018), and Anne with an E. (2018). Greta plays Layla Keating, one of the major characters in the CW’s sports drama series All American. Her on-screen role is the epitome of the ‘IT girl,’ the daughter of a wealthy guy who lives on a large estate. Despite this, Layla is a lonely girl in a large estate.
