Greg Creed is the former CEO of Yum! Brands, a Fortune 500 American fast food corporation. For several years, the name has operated the brands Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, and WingStreet worldwide, with the exception of China, where the brands are managed by an independent company, Yum China.
Twenty-five wondrous years at Yum! Brands, and on August 13th, 2019, Greg shared a letter with his fellow Yum! Employees and franchisees, reflecting on past accomplishments and praying for the Yumsecure !’s future ahead.
He formally handed over the CEO role to his colleague and friend, David Gibbs. Greg, on the other hand, stated that he would always be “cheering the team on from the sidelines.”
Meanwhile, Greg will continue to work part-time until 2020, as requested by David and the board.

Greg, who prefers to stay out of the spotlight, lives happily with his wife, Carolyn Creed, somewhere in California. So far, the couple has made it to their nearly fourth decade of marriage. The Creeds have two adult children, a son and a daughter, both in their thirties.

During his early years, he worked in a senior marketing position at Unilever, eventually rising to the position of Category Director for Dove.
