Later in 2017, he appeared in Brad’s Status, where he portrayed a character named Tween One. This was followed by his appearance in another short movie Party Dress, where he played Harper Klein.
His first breakthrough role came in 2018 when he appeared as Ben Marks in the TV series Good Girls. This has so far been his longest-running TV series and the one that gained him both fame and fortune.
Further, he also appeared in an episode of TV series named Generation in 2021.
Though the creators of the Good Girl had not intended to portray the character of Ben Mark, played by Isaiah, as a trans, they tweaked the storyline after learning he was transgender.
As per the reporters, Jenna, who is the creator of the show didn’t know Isaiah was a trans for a long time. However, after learning about his gender, the writers of the show worked closely with GLAAD, to tell the story of a gender-nonconforming character. To those who are unaware GLAAD is an American media monitoring organization run by the LGBTQ+ community.
In the series, he initially plays a girl named Sadie Marks but eventually portrays transgender boy Ben Marks, which was after a change in the storyline.
