Geena Davis And Reza Jarrahy Co-Parenting Children Despite Fighting a Legal Court Case Against Each Other!

Geena Davis and her former spouse, Reza Jarrahy, celebrated their twin boys Kaiis and Kian’s 16th birthday in May 2020 at the actress’s house in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles.

The reunion’s most exciting aspect was Geena Davis and Jarrahy reuniting as parents. In court, the former couple is fighting a one-on-one battle. While the plastic surgeon is demanding spousal support from the starlet, she argues they were never officially married.

Defending a Legal Case in Court

Davis’ ex-husband Jarrahy filed for divorce from the actress in May 2018, citing irreconcilable differences. In addition, he requested spousal maintenance, a property split, and shared legal and physical care of their children.

However, the actress added an intriguing twist to the story by claiming that they were never legally married because they never received a marriage certificate. There was no need for a legal divorce because there was no marriage.

Now, the case’s twists and turns have prevented it from reaching a resolution; it has yet to receive a final hearing.

Reza Jarrahy and Geena Davis first met in 1999

Despite the lingering uncertainty surrounding their legal marriage, Davis and Jarrahy had a very close relationship and lived as if they were married.

According to Dailymail, the former couple met in 1999 through mutual friends. The two exchanged vows in a private ceremony in the Hamptons a few years later, but Davis claimed they never received a marriage license.

“We are very happy, and we look forward to spending the rest of our lives together,” the former couple said in a joint statement at the time.

Geena Davis and Reza Jarrahy are co-parenting their three children. The actress and the doctor met on the set of A League of Their Own. Their daughter Alizeh is 19 years old, and twins Kaiis and Kian are 17 years old as of 2021.

Despite their decision to end their relationship, the couple has been on excellent terms when it comes to co-parenting their children. They’ve also demonstrated that they’re on the same page when it comes to co-parenting their adolescent children by their conduct.

One excellent example was the one we mentioned previously. At the actress’s home, the former couple celebrated their twin boys’ 16th birthdays.

The doctor wore hospital scrubs and sunglasses to the party, while the actress greeted him in blue jeans and a pink ‘Love Is Love’ long-sleeve blouse. Both of them were also seen exchanging a few words.

Geena Davis and Reza Jarrahy celebrated their twin boys Kaiis and Kian’s 16th birthdays. Whatever the court determines regarding their cases, it appears that the two will be committed to providing their children with the greatest possible upbringing.

Geena Davis on the need of giving women more screen time

It’s been thirty years since Thelma & Louise received an Academy Award for their portrayal of a lovely story of female friendship.

Regrettably, this implies that Geena Davis has been battling for better possibilities for women in Hollywood for over three decades. In an interview with CBS journalist Tracy Smith on July 25, 2021, the Oscar-winning “activist” discussed change both in front of and behind the camera.

She talked about how unfair it was for people to be denied chances based on their age or gender. Sadly, despite her and others like her striving for equality and progress, she has frequently said that it has yet to be seen.
