Gaite Jansen, who feels she is willing to do nothing but act, has put herself in a position where her followers want to know more about her love life. Gaite is in a romantic relationship with Mees Peijnenburg, an Iconoclast-represented filmmaker.
Even though the couple has kept their romance private, Gaite does not hesitate to post photographs of them kissing on her social media accounts.
Additionally, Gaite, who began posting images of Mees on her Instagram in 2016, posted a photo of him this year’s Valentine’s Day, tagging him with a heart emoji.

Gaite Jansen was born in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland, the Netherlands, on 25 December 1991. Gaite was born in Holland and reared alongside her brother by her parents. While Gaite has kept her family’s identity a secret, she does share glimpses of them on her Instagram.
Gaite, who began acting lessons at the age of six, was already onset of short films at the age of fifteen and enrolled in a theatre academy at the age of eighteen. Similarly, two theater institutions in The Netherlands eventually accepted Gaite, and she chose to pursue her career at the Maastricht Theatre Academy.
Gaited discussed in an interview with Interview Magazine how she discovered her passion for acting. As she put it,
“I remember watching Sesame Street and desperately wanting to be the people in it,”
Indeed, her foray into the realm of entertainment paid off for Gaite, as she was granted the Best Actress Award at the 48 Hour Film Project in Amsterdam in 2008 for her performance as Luwte. Additionally, Gaite was nominated for a Netherlands Film Festival Best Actress award for her performance as a deaf girl in the 2011 drama 170Hz. Gaite quickly rose to global prominence following her dominance in her own Holland’s film business.
Gaite rose to prominence in 2016 after securing a part as Princess Tatiana Petrovna in the BBC period drama Peaky Blinders. In 2017, she portrayed Hana Reznikova in the television series Line of Duty.
However, her upcoming film Rotterdam, I Love You is now in pre-production and is scheduled to premiere in 2019.
