Francis Ngannou’s Workout and Diet Routine: Francis Ngannou is a UFC heavyweight fighter who is considered one of the top contenders for the title. Let me begin by saying that Francis is an absolute beast when it comes to combat.
We’ve seen him fight in a number of fights, and he’s been compared to some of the greatest fighters in history. All of this, however, is due to Francis’ commitment and hard work during his training. So, if you’re interested in learning more about the Francis Ngannou workout and diet plan, keep reading.
Diet Plan of Francis Ngannou
On his show, Below The Belt with Brendan Schaub, Francis did an interview with Brendan. They began by eating and conversing about Francis’ diet. After losing a big fight in 2017, Francis stated that he didn’t start eating healthy until 2018.
He used to eat whatever he wanted and didn’t give a second thought to what he was eating before that. However, after that, he begins to eat cleaner, and by a cleaner, he means limiting his intake of fast foods. Francis doesn’t follow a strict diet, but he tries to avoid processed and fast foods as much as possible.
Francis’ daily calorie intake is at least 3.5k or more per day because he is a heavyweight fighter. So long as you eat foods high in protein, some carbohydrates, and healthy fats, you’ll be fine. Focus on lean meats, such as steak, chicken, turkey, and salmon, as well as rice, vegetables, soup, fruits, and protein shakes.

Workout Routine of Francis Ngannou
Francis is without a doubt the most well-known figure in the UFC right now. You could even say he’s on his way to running the yard by himself. Many of you may disagree, but I believe it is only a matter of time before he is crowned champion. Francis works extremely hard every day to achieve his goal.
In his training routine, he does a variety of things, depending on the time. There are numerous factors to consider before engaging in a major brawl. Francis has spoken about his various workouts and routines on numerous occasions. So, let’s take a look at all of them to learn how to get in shape like Francis.
Francis’ workouts are determined by the number of days until the fight. He usually begins a rigorous training regimen two or three months prior to the fight. Francis then begins to slow down his routine two weeks before the match. In his new UFC fight camp video, he even explains these things. By clicking here, you can watch the entire video and learn more about how he trains.
Francis engages in a variety of high-intensity MMA workouts, including sparring, pad work, boxing, agility, and weight training. However, before the fights, he slows down and takes his time doing pad workouts, sparring, and other activities. Aside from that, he enjoys teaching people about fitness.
Francis has a YouTube show called Fitness with Francis that he hosts. That’s where Francis teaches you and a lot of other people how to stay in shape. I recommend that you watch it and learn a variety of different workouts that anyone can do from home. The best part about the activities is that no equipment is required, and Francis has demonstrated a routine for each muscle group.
Now that we’ve seen all of the exercises, you can combine them into a specific routine to get in the best shape possible. If you’re not sure how to incorporate these into your training, I recommend following this plan I created:
The following is a list of Francis Ngannou’s workouts:
Routine in the Morning
You can begin by training for two hours in the morning, covering all of your MMA routines such as sparring, pad work, agility, submission, and so on. Of course, because I’m not an MMA fighter or a trainer, I can’t give you a workout routine. So join your local MMA gym and begin working out five days a week there.
Evening Schedule
It will be an all-weight training routine in the evening. It’s just as important to condition your body as it is to build physical strength. Francis has a very well-built physique as a result of his weight-training regimen. Add these exercises to your regular gym routine for better results:
- Deadlifts
- Snatch
- Sumo deadlifts
- Bulgarian squats
- Split squats
- Walking lunges
- Kettlebell swings
- Overhead press and squats
- Planks
