Farida Fasasi is a Nigerian actress who is best known for being the wife of Sound Sultan, also known as Olanrewaju Fasasi. Following the death of her husband, Sound Sultan, she rose to popularity. Sound Sultan was an accomplished singer, rapper, performer, lyricist, entertainer, comedian, and record producer.
According to sources, Sultan died of throat cancer on July 11, 2021. He was 44 years old at the time. A family member, Dr. Kayode Fasasi, broke the tragic news, saying that the rapper was suffering from Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma.
