If you search for Euphoria’s star Angus Cloud on Twitter, you’ll find that he’s been accused of sexual assault.
Users on the platform began resharing an Instagram story from an unidentified source whose user identity was redacted on January 29, 2022.
The Instagram user claimed that Cloud had sexually abused her in the tale and appealed to anyone with the power to spread the news about the actor.
The claimed victim said that the fact that the abuser was well-known made her sick, and she despised hearing people make assumptions about her sexual assault story.
People told her what she should have done while she was making her issue about them and their feelings, she continued. The victim also mentioned Euphoria, asking why they were not holding their cast members accountable for their conduct.
Angus Cloud has been charged with sexual assault.
Although it is unclear who the victim is or whether the allegations are real, a few users have emerged amid the uproar.
On January 29, user @onlinegirlie stated that Cloud’s lawyer had issued a cease and desist order. The account of the former has been disabled, while the account of the latter has been made private. However, the Instagram account Pop faction has created a carousel out of the duo’s Twitter thread.
Strawberryspit appeared to have tweeted that Cloud had sexually abused someone they cared about and that he despised the fact that so many people worshipped him.
They went on to say that they wouldn’t go into specifics because it wasn’t their story to tell. Nonetheless, they indicated that they could testify on behalf of their friend.
They revealed in a subsequent Tweet that Cloud’s lawyer had threatened to have them erase their tweets, but that they would not back down in support of sexual assault victims.
Meanwhile, Czechcamei looks to be the friend in question. In their Tweets, the two were praising each other and gushed about how terrific friends they were.
Czechcamei revealed in their tweets that they had been sexually raped by someone who afterward got famous.
They did not confirm if Cloud was the perpetrator, but netizens were confident they were the victims.

The Allegations Have Split the Internet
Despite the fact that the truth has yet to be verified, internet users have created their own beliefs. Victims were guilty until proven innocent, according to user @NAGINI, because unreported instances and non-convictions were 15 times more prevalent in rape cases than false allegations.
Another user, @shotaspov, commented that not enough people were discussing the issue. They went on to say that the actor has to “take responsibility for his conduct and face the consequences.”
Some people, on the other hand, believed the victim and their friend were lying. Strawberryspit’s earlier tweets were brought up by these individuals, who accused them of having a “rape kink.”
Strawberryspit had supplied no story, screenshots of DMs, or emails she received from Cloud’s legal team, according to user @briannamishell24.
Briannamishell24 was skeptical of strawberryspit’s allegation because of this, as well as their contradictory timings on the subject.
So far, neither the truth nor Cloud’s response has been established.
