Both of them refer to themselves as the fathers of their dog Tito on each other’s Instagram accounts. Fans of the anchor speculated that he might be gay as a result of this. Gibson’s lack of a girlfriend and his lack of marriage may have also generated questions about his sexuality.

Gibson was named to Crain NewsPro’s “12 to Watch in TV News” list in an article published in the magazine’s January 2020 issue. Gibson participated in a workshop in Belize to share knowledge about international media best practices in order to maintain Belize’s image as a tourist destination, as the government is heavily reliant on tourism revenue.
He wants to utilize his position to demonstrate to the rest of the world that his country has wonderful features and is not how the media portrays it to be.
