Ever since he was young, Eduardo Perez has been a huge baseball fan. He used to spend his free time playing baseball. He even joined the school’s baseball team during his high school years. His love of baseball grew stronger and stronger as time went on. His dream was finally realized in 1991 when he was selected by the California Angels in the first round of the MLB Draft, 17th overall.
He then began to demonstrate his abilities and played for numerous teams, including the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Tampa Bay Rays, and Clev
Indians of Eland. However, in 1997, while playing for the Cincinnati Reds team, he recorded his career highs in games (106) played, home runs (16), and RBIs (52).
Sadly, Eduardo left baseball in 2006 and continued to work as an analyst until 2010. He was the Miami Marlins’ hitting coach from 2011 to 2012, and in 2013, he was the bench coach for the Houston Astros.
He briefly worked as a coach before returning to his previous position as an ESPN analyst. Additionally, Eduardo re-signed a multi-year extension contract with ESPN on December 10th, 2019.
