Robert De Niro’s daughter Drena is the eldest of six children and the daughter of a famous father and a caring stepmother. Drena was five years old when she was adopted by Robert De Niro and his ex-wife Diahnne Abbott in 1976. Given her illustrious father and famous actress mother, the actress has long been a paparazzi favorite.
Despite the fact that Robert divorced Diahnne and married Grace Hightower, Drena appears to be quite close to her family, as they are frequently seen together at Robert’s movie premieres or other occasions.
Drena’s closeness with her father was clear on Father’s Day this year when she wrote a touching tribute to him. An excerpt from the aforementioned Instagram post reads:
She also praised her father for helping her get through difficult times with “inappropriate jokes.”
Drena, on the other hand, is not solely in the spotlight because of her father. The actress was thrust into the limelight after she assaulted her ex-boyfriend, Austin Young.
Nearly Married; Attacks Ex-Husband-To-Be
The actress was temporarily engaged to him, but her father did not approve of their connection, so Drena returned her engagement ring before the couple could marry and have a husband-wife relationship. The pair split up, calling it quits on their engagement. But it didn’t end there. Austin was out walking his dog when Drena attacked him. When Austin was asked about the incident, he recalled it and stated,
Drena De Niro apparently became enraged when she discovered Austin had moved in with his other lover. He went on to say that woman yelled at him while attacking him:
That became really bad!
Even after such a horrific attack, Drena was not jailed, which infuriated Austin.
Drena has not been romantically linked to anyone since that awful tragedy, however, she is frequently seen with Wilfredo Rosado.
Wilfredo Rosado: Husband-to-be Or Just Friends?
Drena De Niro even went on a date with Wilfredo and posted a picture on Instagram.
Drena De Niro, who plays Dave Chapelle’s character’s wife in A Star Is Born, isn’t the only one who has posted photos of the couple on social media. Wilfredo Rosado also took the time to share a photo with the message “friend Drena.”
In a different post, Drena is photographed throwing her arms around Wilfred, raising the potential of a developing romance between the two.
To divert the suspicions about her and Wilfried, she posted another post referring to their connection as “friendship.” The Instagram post included a photo of the supposed couple with the caption:
“Homies 4 Life” was one of the hashtags used in the aforementioned post.
According to the photographs they exchange, it appears that something is going on between the two, but neither of them has confronted anything on the subject to date!
