The majority of people are unaware that she has established herself as a highly qualified professional working for a reputable global corporation.
In terms of professional accomplishments, she may even give her husband a run for his money.
Part of the McDonald’s Family for More than Fifteen Years
Merz, Devereux’s wife, has worked at McDonald’s for nearly fifteen years. She started her career at McDonald’s as a finance manager in September 2005 and stayed there till March 2012.
She was then elevated to Director of Global Financial Reporting, which she held for more than three years. She was later promoted to Finance Director, US Marketing, Menu, and Initiatives as a result of her hard work and dedication. From August 2015 to November 2017, she was in charge of the duties.
She was then promoted to the position of Director of US Business Insights & Analytics. After a year of serving as an analytics expert, she was promoted to her present position as Senior Director of Investor Relations in January 2019. For the previous two years, she has been in this position.
You’d think Merz had been working there her entire life with such an outstanding resume in such a short period of time. Prior to her long career at McDonald’s, she worked for six years as an audit manager for Ernst and Young LLP, a London-based accounting firm.
Merz Has a Master’s Degree in Accountancy
Working as a finance and accounting specialist for a world-renowned multi-chain firm necessitates a high level of qualification, and Devereux’s better half is a 2002 graduate of the University of Notre Dame-Mendoza College of Business with a major in accounting. She earned her bachelor’s degree in science with an accounting major from the University of Illinois Urbana-Gies Champaign’s College of Business.
She has obtained expertise in financial reporting, accounting, auditing, financial analysis, financial modeling, due diligence financial accounting US GAAP, GAAP finance management, internal controls managerial finance, internal auditing, and more during the course of her two-decade professional career.
Doyle Devereux and Merz Has Adopted a Baby
Since June of this year, Devereux and Merz have been the proud parents of little Dominic.
The couple announced their adoption on Amazon Baby Registry and appeared to be pleased with their new addition to the family. So much so that they were excited to reveal the nursery’s theme on the register page.
In terms of their personal lives, it appears that the pair prefers to keep a low profile. The Devereuxs have never spoken about their wedding plans. The Judge Mathis actor, on the other hand, is known to have been married for at least thirteen years.
