Cecily Barmore-Chapman, Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman’s stepdaughter, was arrested for domestic abuse on July 31, 2021. According to TMZ, Barmore’s boyfriend of five years phoned the cops following a late-night argument at their Honolulu home.
They had been drinking before she became verbally and physically aggressive, according to her partner. Barmore allegedly hit him on both sides of his face and bit his upper back, producing bruises and swelling, according to his statement.
Several times, he accused the reality star of being physically aggressive. He stated that such incidents occurred frequently, and that he had contacted the cops because he was finally tired of her purported behavior. The emergency medical service came at the scene after he filed a report of abuse. They did not, however, transport her partner to the hospital. Barmore, on the other hand, was arrested for misdemeanor mistreatment of a family member.
The prosecuting attorney’s office in Honolulu decided not bring any charges against her, but they stated they could change their minds if new evidence appears within two years.
Dog the Bounty Hunter and Cecily Barmore’s Feud
Barmore’s arrest comes amid her ongoing spat with her stepfather, Dog the Bounty Hunter. After the bounty hunter left Barmore and his other daughter, Bonnie Chapman, off the guest list for his approaching wedding with Francie Frane, the two developed a quarrel.
On September 2, 2021, he will marry his fiancee, and his daughters with his late wife, Beth Chapman, will be the only individuals in attendance. Barmore is from Beth’s previous relationship with Keith A. Barmore, while Bonnie is his biological child with Beth.
Barmore told TMZ that their father didn’t invite them because they reminded him of Beth, and he didn’t want to think about his late wife while starting a new life. Bonnie, on the other hand, had a different theory. She accused the 68-year-old of racism and claimed they were not invited because she backed the Black Lives Matter movement.
The television personality sent a statement to Page Six denying the charges. He claimed that his daughter was trying to sabotage his wedding by being misled by previous associates.

While her boyfriend revealed specifics of the confrontation, Barmore was equally forthright about what enraged her.
The 28-year-old told TMZ that her boyfriend was the one who had struck her first. He also allegedly said terrible things about her dead mother’s memories, which enraged her. She utilized proportional retaliation, disabled the aggressor, and stood up for her mother’s memory, according to her stories. “I’m sure she would have handled it in the same way,” she added, referring to her mother.
