Jim Nantz’s divorce cost him a lot of money. His ex-wife Ann-Lorraine “Lorrie” Carlsen Nantz requested a large alimony payment of $1 million.
This former couple married on April 16, 1983, when Jim Nantz was still in the early stages of his career as a newbie. On November 2, 2009, they divorced.
Jim Nantz: Children
This couple welcomed their first child, a lovely daughter named Caroline Nantz, about whom they have kept quiet. Their daughter’s precise date of birth has yet to be determined, although she was born in the year 1994.
His daughter is following in her father’s footsteps, interning at CBS and NBC and working as a production intern on “The Late Show with Seth Meyers.”
Despite his hectic schedule, Jim always made time for his family. He needed his spouse’s support because he was so invested in his career, but Anne stopped helping him.
During the divorce proceedings, Jim had also claimed that his wife had a history of overspending. This may be the explanation for their failed marriage, but the real reason has yet to be revealed.
The divorce’s ‘Plausible Reason’
Before the divorce was finalized, Jim Nantz admitted to dating a 29-year-old woman. The judge, on the other hand, concluded that the marriage had failed years before and said,
“This remote event in no way contributed to the breakdown of the marriage.“
Following his divorce from his first wife, he began dating Courtney Richards. On September 14, 2010, he proposed to her. In addition, on June 9, 2012, he married Courtney Richards in a ceremony at the Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, California.
Courtney, his wife, is a VP at IMG. As you can see in the photo below, this couple welcomed a baby girl on March 14, 2014.
On February 1, 2016, this couple welcomed their second child, a son. Jim is currently enjoying his marriage with his wife and two children.
He is also known for being one of the few people whose arguments contradict each other, but he is completely logical. As an example,
“It’s a solitary journey, but it’s one that no player … makes alone.”
