For the first time outside a Hollywood nightclub on December 11, 2019, Benward and Winter were seen openly close to each other.
Fans speculated that the Good Luck Charlie actor was photographed with his hand around his lovely girlfriend’s waist, implying that they were dating.
In January 2020, they made their relationship public
Things changed dramatically for the couple a month later, when their connection, which had been speculated, was verified. On January 6, a close insider to the pair told Us Weekly that they were “very happy” with each other.
“He’s a perfect match for her,” the source continued. “She adores his charisma and enthusiasm, and she feels completely at ease in his presence. Ariel is attempting to keep her connection with Luke a secret and isn’t telling many people about it, but they are dating.”
Benward even took to Instagram on January 28 to wish Winter a happy birthday alongside two gorgeous images. The couple was photographed kissing in one of the photos.
Ariel Winter Breaks the Silence in April 2020
Before expressing about her feelings for Benward, the Modern Family star took her time. She finally broke her silence on April 7, 2020, when she posted a photo of the couple as part of Instagram’s #firstphotochallenge.
Winter stated in an Instagram story, “Even though we’ve been friends for four years, this is the first photo I could find of just us two aside from a paparazzi snap, sooooo this will have to do for this challenge.”
October 2020: Collaborating
Winter came to Instagram on October 28 to update her followers on the second project she and her beau were working on together. She commented that she felt honored and proud to be his life and work partner.
