The Couples From ’90 Day Fiance’ Season 2 Who Ended Up Splitting!

Reality dating programs are growing savvier by the day, experimenting with new ways to match two people. When it comes to the perfect blend of reality television and relationships, 90 Day Fiance is no exception.

90 Day Fiance is a TLC reality show about international couples who have only 90 days to marry while on a K-1 visa. They must overcome cultural barriers and familial turmoil while pursuing true love during that time period.

The show premiered on January 12, 2014, and has since been extended for an additional eight seasons. While all of the seasons of 90 Day Fiancé are entertaining, Season 2 stands out.

Six couples were featured, three of them are still together and have children, while the other three have moved on from their relationships. All of the couples who broke up after Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance are listed here.

Yamir Castillo and Chelsea Macek(90 Day Fiance)

When Chelsea Macek was volunteering in Nicaragua, she met Yamir Castillo. Castillo was a member of a Nicaraguan boy band at the time. Castillo moved in with Macek and her parents in the United States after the two fell in love. Unfortunately, this caused a big schism between him and his other members of the band.

Castillo, who missed his music, resurrected his career by sending demo recordings to a few Chicago music producers. He received a response and travelled to Chicago to meet with producers, who informed him that if he wanted to have a great career, he needed to stay in Chicago.

Unfortunately, Macek did not approve of the proposal because neither of them were employed and were living for free with her parents in Illinois. Castillo’s move to Chicago was already causing problems in their relationship, but Macek’s discovery that she was queer ended it.

Castillo and Macek filed for divorce in 2017 as a result of this. Macek married her fiancé, Daniel Colombo Vern, on April 10, 2021, while Castillo is still in Chicago working on his songs. (eldiariony.com)

Cássia Tavares and Jason Hitch

Cássia Tavares and Jason Hitch met on Facebook, but Tavares was already engaging in an online affair with Hitch’s friend. Tavares eventually ended his relationship with Hitch’s companion and began dating Hitch.

After arriving in the United States from Brazil, Tavares moved in with Hitch and his father. Their relationship, however, did not endure long. In 2017, the couple divorced for the first time, but later reconciled. After being accused of domestic abuse, Hitch filed for divorce for the second time in 2018.

After finalizing their divorce in October 2018, the pair went their own ways. On February 20, 2021, Tavares married Giuseppe, a personal trainer.

Mohamed Jbali and Danielle Mullins

One of the most contentious couples in the 90 Day Fiance franchise is Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali. Given their huge age gap, lack of chemistry, and a relationship predicated on lies, it’s no surprise they’re no longer together. For the first time, they met in an online chat room. Mullins had three teenage children and one adult son from previous marriages when Jbali traveled to Ohio from Tunisia.

The two quickly were engaged, but soon after the engagement, lies began to emerge. Mullins deceived him about aspects of Jbali’s personal life, including writing bad checks and illegally using a credit card. Jbali lied about being employed, while Mullins misled him about aspects of her personal life, including writing bad checks and unlawfully using a credit card.

Soon after the wedding, the couple split up, and Jbali moved on with a female in Miami. Mullins was irritated because she had paid for his K-1 visa. In season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Mullins filed for an annulment and attempted to avenge herself by deporting Jbali. However, they split in 2017, and Jbali relocated to Texas.

Mullins stated in an interview with US Weekly that they have no romantic feelings for one other and that they are simply friends.
