Chelsea Destroy Manchester City’s Quadruple Hope

This season’s F.A. Cup Semi-Final has produced yet another drama.

THOMAS TUCHEL AND CHELSEA HAVE COME TUMBLING DOWN AT THE HANDS OF MANCHESTER CITY, WHO WERE LOOKING FOR A QUADRUPLE.

Thomas Tuchel Finally Beats Pep Guardiola During the Bundesliga season, Tuchel and Guardiola faced each other five times. Thomas was the manager of Borussia Dortmund, while Pep was the manager of German powerhouse Bayern Munich.

Pep and his counterpart met a total of five times, with Pep always coming out on top.

But everything changed this season.

Thomas Tuchel, who joined Chelsea in the middle of the season, has now defeated his archrival Pep Guardiola to help his team reach the F.A. Cup Final.

Pep, who has been in charge of Manchester City since 2016, has never seen his team perform so poorly in the attack. They appeared to have left their shooting boots at home.

Chelsea has been in one of their best forms in the last two seasons since the arrival of Thomas.

This season, the 3 at the back formation proved to be crucial once again.

Thiago Silva, who joined Chelsea on a free transfer this season, has been one of Tuchel’s most important players. During their time at PSG, the duo won the French Domestic Treble as well as reached the UCL final.

CHELSEA ARE NOW ON THE ROAD FOR THEIR FIRST DOUBLE IN A LONG TIME WITH THIS WIN.

Manchester City’s quest for a quadruple has come to an end.
Manchester City was attempting to become the first English team to win the fabled “Quadruple.”

However, the hope has now come to an end.

Manchester City were still favorites to win the Quadruple during the 2017/18 season but was defeated in the F.A Cup by Wigan Athletic.

History has been repeated. Instead of Wigan, it is Chelsea who dashes City’s hopes this time.

This City team will undoubtedly win the Premier League this season, and they are in the final of the Carabao Cup against Tottenham, while also facing PSG in the UCL semis.

There is still hope for Treble, but City will have to try again next year if they want to win the coveted “Quadruple.”

Hakim Ziyech Disproves His Doubters
The Moroccan winger/forward joined Chelsea following a standout season for Ajax. He has, however, failed to live up to the expectations.

Due to Covid-19, the Dutch league has been postponed. As a result, Hakim was barred from playing professional football for seven months.

When he finally joined Chelsea, he was injured in the first preseason game and was out for a long time.

Chelsea has signed Hakim Ziyech

As a result, he has yet to fully adapt to life in the Premier League.

But, under Tuchel’s tutelage, he has finally demonstrated why he is known as the “Wizard.”

Despite his limited playing time, he has performed admirably when given the opportunity.

Against Manchester City, he proved his doubters wrong.

Timo Werner received a through ball from Mason Mount and was able to outrun the City defense due to his incredible speed.

Werner then passed the ball to Hakim, who tapped the ball into the net in the 55th minute, giving Chelsea a well-deserved 1-0 lead.

This goal was crucial as Chelsea defeated an unusually quiet Manchester City.
ManCity’s entire squad performed poorly throughout the game.

With this, there is no doubt that Hakim Ziyech will be a fantastic player for Chelsea not only this season but a few more.

Hakim has three goals and three assists in his first season with Chelsea. This stat isn’t as good as his last season’s, but it takes time to adjust to a new, more difficult league, and Ziyech will undoubtedly be better next season.
