Rae’s cardio workout consists of an hour of walking and jogging every day. She claimed that because of my work, I couldn’t go to the gym and work out when I started eating better. So I picked a time that I could stick to every day, and that’s when Issa began working out at 4:55 a.m.

Her workout takes place mostly in her neighborhood, which has many hills. Issa Rae enjoys walking and jogging in those hills, and she claims it provides her with a good Crossfit workout.

Issa Rae: Diet Plan

If you’re wondering what Issa Rae eats, keep reading. Don’t worry, she says in one of her Women’s Health interviews. Issa has stated that she eats a paleo-style diet. It’s a diet that includes fruits, vegetables, lean meats like pork, steak, chicken, and fish, as well as pumpkin seeds and almonds.

This diet can help you lose weight while also allowing your body to gain muscle. Now that Rae’s workout does not include much strength training, the diet is purely serving as a lean protein shake for her. Issa also drinks a lot of water during the day.
