Since the early 2010s, Vladimir Tenev, better known as Vlad Tenev, has been a key part of the technological and business worlds. He is best known as the co-founder of Robinhood, an American financial services startup that received widespread media attention in early 2021.
Tenev and his college classmate and business partner Baiju Bhatt started the company in 2012, and Tenev was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in the finance category. While the young entrepreneur and his business partner have received a lot of press over the years, their personal lives are rarely exposed to the public. Vlad Tenev and Celina Tenev have been married for a long time. Vlad and his wife, Celina, both attended Stanford University, therefore the couple may have started dating in college.
While the entrepreneur holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, his wife is a postdoctoral fellow in medicine. Celina Tenev, Tenev’s wife, worked at the Department of Radiology on tumor imaging (MRI).

Timothy Peck, her business partner, helped her start the company. Timothy worked as an emergency medicine doctor at Harvard Medical School while Celina was in college studying medicine.
In the medical area, Call 9 was a major hit since it gave services to nursing home patients who would otherwise phone 911 for minor emergencies.
According to Timothy, a high number of nursing home hospitalizations may be avoided. Peck and Tenev founded their organization to act as a middleman in these circumstances in order to assist reduce hospitalizations.
The healthcare startup, however, closed its doors a few years later. According to CNBC, the company failed to find extra funding to manage the high costs of running a health care center after raising $34 million in venture capital.
Celina Tenev and her business partner Timothy continued to run a part of Call 9 Medical, and we can only hope that they are able to help as many people as possible.
