Cassidy Freeman is most recognized for her role in the CW’s Superman-inspired series Smallville (2001-2011). She has also appeared in a number of other films and television shows, including Vampire Diaries (2012), Longmire (2012-2017), and Razor Sharp (2006).

Cassidy Bree Freeman was born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 22, 1982, to Lee and Glynna Freeman. Her parents are both well-known Chicago attorneys. The Razor Sharp actress has two older brothers, both of whom work in show business.
Crispin Freeman, her eldest brother, is a voice actor who has played characters such as Winston in Overwatch and Alucard in Hellsing Ultimate. He has appeared in over 300 video games, TV shows, and films.
Clark Freeman, an actor, and percussionist is Cassidy’s other brother. He has appeared on Parks and Recreation (2013), Teen Wolf (2014), Narcos: Mexico (2018-2020), and other shows. The vocalist for The Real D’Coy went to The Latin School of Chicago. She later attended Middlebury College, where she majored in Theatre and Spanish. She received her Magna C** laude diploma.

Cassidy’s first novel, Razor Sharp, was published in 2006. Before appearing in the mockumentary Finishing The Game: The Search for a New Bruce Lee, she appeared in a couple more shots (2007). The same year, she was cast in the film An Accidental Christmas for the first time.
In the years that followed, the actress performed in several films and TV shows before obtaining a prominent role in Smallville. She appears in 64 episodes of the superhero series. Her previous works include The Playboy Club (2011), Doubt (2017), and The Righteous Gemstones (2017). (2019).
