Blake Anderson’s Situation Following His Divorce From His Wife; Smiling Through Ruins?

Blake Anderson is a well-known American actor and comedian best known for his appearances on and creation of the Comedy Central series Workaholics.

He appeared in an episode of HBO’s Entourage on the medical drama House and on the comedy Community, but his first major television role was on the Fox sitcom Traffic Light.

While his acts are well-known, his personal life, which formerly featured a lovely wife and an angel-like daughter, is difficult for his followers to fathom.

Wife’s Best Friend; Divorce Ends Marriage

Blake was born in Sacramento, California, and married Rachael Finley, a fashion designer, on 7 September 2012. In 2014, the couple received their daughter Mars Ilah Anderson, whom they refer to as their ‘Goddess.’

The couple met at a bar, where Rachael was relaxing with drinks and he was calmly eating with his pals, and their first conversation began with the ‘Yelling’. She yelled at him for his shirt, but Rachael believes it was love at first sight.

And it was Blake who initiated the process of developing a positive relationship with his future bride. He saw her Twitter account and immediately tweeted about her for the first time, writing:

“please don’t crash your car.”

Their dating lives began shortly thereafter. They went on their first date, and Rachel subsequently admitted to Nylon in an interview that she preferred him.

“I liked him again because he was a real, human nerd and not whatever I thought someone chasing an acting career would be.”

Additionally, the girlfriend-turned-wife referred to him as her “best friend” and stated that they have not spent a day apart since that day.
Typically, as a relationship matures, the link grows stronger and deeper. However, as Blake and his wife’s relationship grew older, their link and understanding grew weaker.

In 2017, after five years of marriage, the parents of a four-year-old daughter filed for divorce. Rachael, who earlier stated that “she cannot live a day without Blake,” filed for divorce in May 2017 in Los Angeles, alleging irreconcilable differences.

Even before Rachael filed for divorce, the pair seemed to have been living apart. Citation of a source:

“The couple has been separated for at least six months so the divorce petition is not a shock.”

Despite their feud, the couple attempted to mend their relationship, but it appears they were unable to do so save for co-parenting their lone kid.

However, things did not work out properly, and they were divorced under California law, following the six-month cooling-off period required for even the most amicable divorces.

Later in December 2017, six months after they filed for divorce, the divorce was ultimately approved. According to the divorce agreement, they share legal and physical custody of their daughter.

Rachael, who previously battled lymphatic cancer, appeared depressed following the divorce, as she published the non-smiling closeups on Instagram.
