Beyblade Burst Surge (or Beyblade Burst Sparking), the anime portion of the new project for the Beyblade Burst series, will premiere in the United States on Disney XD on February 20 at 8:00 a.m. EST, according to ADK Emotions NY.
Each week, new episodes will air on Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. EST, with reruns on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. EST and weekdays at 3:00 p.m. EST. The series Beyblade Burst Surge will consist of 26 episodes.
On April 3, the anime debuted on the CoroCoro Channel and the Takara Tomy Channel (both on YouTube).
The plot revolves around brothers Hikaru and Hyga Asahi, who take part in an all-star battle with “Legendary Bladers” from the Beyblade Burst series.

The original work is attributed to Hiro Morita. OLM’s chief director is Katsuhito Akiyama, and the anime is directed by Jin Gu Oh. Hideki Sonoda is in charge of the scripts for the series, and Toshiaki hashi is the character designer.
New toys are also included in the project. On March 28, the new toys, which included a new launcher and other parts, were released. The launcher was the first in the franchise’s 21-year history to generate sparks when used.
Hiro Morita is also working on a Beyblade Burst Sparking arc for his Beyblade Burst manga series.
The anime Beyblade Burst Rise (Beyblade Burst GT) first aired in Japan in April 2019 under the title Beyblade Burst GT on the Coro Coro Comics YouTube channel and the Takara Tomy Channel streaming service.
The anime’s English dub premiered on Disney XD in the United States in February 2020. Teletoon, a Canadian television channel, will also air the anime beginning in March 2020. ADK Emotions NY licensed the series to Corus Entertainment (formerly Sunrights).
The first Beyblade Burst anime aired in Japan in April 2016, followed by the “second season” of Beyblade Burst God (Beyblade Burst Evolution) in April 2017, and Beyblade Burst Chozetsu in April 2018.
