Ben Stiller and his wife, Christine Taylor, met at work, as do many other Hollywood celebrities. The two met on the set of Heat Vision and Jack, a failed television pilot in 1999.
Ben Stiller claims it was love at first sight, and he knew right away that his wife was the one. Within eight months, the couple fell in love and married in 2000.
They eventually had two children, a son and a daughter, and life seemed to be going swimmingly for the couple.
They shocked everyone when they announced their divorce in 2017.
In a joint statement to People, they said they made the decision “with tremendous love and respect for each other.”
The couple also stated that they would continue to raise their son and daughter peacefully.

And the couple stuck to their word. They were frequently seen together, sometimes with their children, sometimes without.
Closer Weekly reported two years after their divorce that the couple was giving their marriage another shot.
According to a source, Even though they were divorced, Stiller never got over his wife and refused to move on.
They also added Stiller later regretted his decision and blamed himself for failing to put enough effort into their marriage.
According to the outlet, one of the reasons they were reuniting was likely because co-parenting their children brought them closer together.
According to the source, their children were overjoyed at the news of their parents’ reunion.
“Ben’s a great dad who spent as much time as he could with the kids during the divorce, who are both overjoyed that their parents are back together,” an insider revealed.
Meet Ben Stiller’s Children
Ella Olivia Stiller, Stiller and Taylor’s daughter, was born in April 2002.
Ella followed in her family’s footsteps and discovered her talent for acting at a young age.
Her grandfather, Stiller’s father, thought she was amazing when she appeared in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow when she was in fourth grade.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Stiller discussed his feelings about his daughter’s decision to pursue a career in Hollywood.
“I’m happy because she loves it, she’s very passionate about it, and she knows what she wants to do,” the actor explained.
He went on to say that he would help her in any way he could.
Ella has already established herself in the industry with roles in Hubie Halloween, Fork Knife & Chainsaw, and Escape at Dannemora.
Quinlin Dempsey Stiller, the actor’s son, is also following in his father’s footsteps.
He was only a toddler when he appeared in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa in 2008. Quinlin also appeared on Night at the Museum with his father in 2014.
In fact, of all the films his children have seen, Stiller’s Night at the Museum is the only one they have seen.
The father of two went on to say that he didn’t want to force his children to watch his films, but that they might want to one day.
