In addition, Woody Allen’s daughter, Bechet Allen, wrote on Facebook that she never wanted to get involved in social media arguments over her father. She went on to say that there came a point where she couldn’t pretend to defend him anymore.
Bechet went on to say that her father had always been supportive and caring to her. She also expressed gratitude to Moses Farrow for sharing his personal story so that others could discover the truth about their ancestors. Bechet, who was 19 at the time, shared Moses’ blog post, in which he claims Mia Farrow assaulted his siblings, including Soon-Yi.
The previous story was not the only source of contention for Bechet’s father. The father-daughter combination was also mocked on the internet. They mistook the image of Bechet and Woody for a picture of Woody and Soon-Yi.
Despite the controversy and misunderstandings surrounding Woody Allen and their Soon-relationship, Yi they were able to raise their children successfully.
