Ashely Parker Angel made her acting debut as a dreamy-eyed 19-year-old in the ABC sitcom Making The Band, which has since become a cult classic. Today, he has established himself as a bona fide Broadway sensation with a chart-topping musical career.
While many are unaware, the California native had a brief spell as a reality star on MTV’s There & Back: Ashley Parker Angel — a show that also showed his then-wife-prospect Tiffany Lynn giving birth to their son, Lyric.
Lyric, like his parents, has already made headlines as Ashley, 37, and Tiffany, 37, prepare to argue over child support payments in court this November.
Disagreement With Former Wife Prospect Over Child Support; Nearly Married
To summarize, Ashley is not on the best of terms with his former wife prospect.
However, given their amicable divorce in 2008, the latest events over the amount of child support payments came as a surprise. Following their split, an insider close to the couple – who nearly married in the mid-2000s – spoke to US Magazine and claimed:
“The two remain close friends, as they raise their two-year-old son Lyric together.”
By the time Ashley and his ex-girlfriend, Tiffany, decided to end their relationship, their son, Lyric, was already three years old, having been born in August 2005. Six years after the birth of Lyric, Tiffany and her fiance Austin Storms had their second child, a daughter named Kennedy Lynn Storms.
Before passing judgment on Tiffany’s “heartless approach,” it’s critical to recall that Ashley was the one who drew the “first blood.” The Making The Band singer was said to have hooked up with his Hairspray co-star, Aubrey O’Day, shortly after the news of their split broke.
Similar to his romance with Tiffany, his supposed girlfriend Aubrey did not last long either. The duo – who had no intention of marrying – broke up shortly after “hooking up.”Ashley appears to be preoccupied with the care of his 13-year-old son, Lyric. He and his former fiancée, Tiffany, share joint custody of Lyric — who, incidentally, appeared in an episode of American Horror Story: Hotel in 2015.
Their co-parenting arrangement is currently in jeopardy due to a disagreement over the amount of child support required. Ashley has contended that he is unable to make the monthly payment of $1,836 due to his present unemployment.
Tiffany responded to Ashley’s charges by implying that her previous fiance viewed child support as a burden. Concerning the court’s opinion, the matter is scheduled to be heard in November of this year.
At times like these, one could wonder if Ashley wishes he were homosexual!
Gay Demographic’s Fan Favorite; What About Girlfriends?
Do the difficulties and repercussions of a heterosexual relationship have the capacity to transform a straight person into a full-fledged gay individual?
To be honest, the jury is still out on that one. However, if Ashley does want to make that change, rest assured that it will be seamless. Given his online gay following, the 37-year-old is sure to be welcomed with open arms by the LGBTQ community.
Apart from his boyish charms and excellent looks, the Let You Go singer’s willingness to show off “his meat” on social media platforms has earned him a frequent spot on gay-oriented websites.
Consider David Grant’s 2018 Queerty piece. The aforementioned post – which includes several of Ashley’s sexual “thirst traps” – and its comments section provide readers with an unprecedented look into the Broadway star’s popularity within the LGBTQ community.
The site’s regular Donald Dork’s comment “Yummy” encapsulates the queer community’s feelings towards Ashley.
Without girlfriends, the There & Back: Ashley Parker Angel would want to investigate this as a possible alternative, wouldn’t she?
