Anllela Sagra’s Bio Reveals Her Birth Name, Height, Age, and Family
In 2011, she had a chance to meet with a trainer who would expose her to the world of bodybuilding, which sparked her remarkable career.
After landing a few modeling contracts, Anellela, then 18, who was studying fashion design at the time, decided to jump ship and go full-on fitness mode. She did, however, have misgivings about her newfound love. She explains on her official website’s bio:
“I was undergoing my studies in fashion design, I would only model a few times during the week. I was extremely thin since a muscular body is not something desired in the modeling world… “
Anllela’s shift from the “conventional model” to the fitness model was not as easy as she would have wanted. Her devotion eventually paid off, she writes as she chronicles her predicaments. She finished third in her first fitness competition after only a year and a half of bodybuilding. Anllela, on the other hand, found herself at a crossroads as a result of the outcome.
“My modeling career started coming to a halt due to the all the muscular mass I was gaining. Many told me to stop training because I was “hurting” my body, but the passion I had for the life I was starting to live was incredible.”
She was torn between pursuing a more traditional modeling career and following her newfound interest, so she chose the latter. Finally, the Colombian beauty, who is 5 feet 9 inches (175 cm) tall, decided to take a chance. She mentions the following in her bio:
“In life, there is no such thing as luck, there are only opportunities and it is your decision whether or not to take a chance on them. I decided to take it and risk everything, lose everything and just jump into the world of possibilities and the truth is that it was the best decision I ever made in my life.”
All of Anllela’s uncertainties seem like a distant memory now that she is one of the most famous faces in the fitness/bodybuilding world.
Modeling genes appear to run in the Sagra family. The 1Up Nutrition sponsored model is the sister of fellow Instagram fitness instructor, Laura Sagra, and was born on October 6, 1993, in Colombia.

The fitness industry is one tree that continues to provide Anllela with fruit – or, in this case, a boyfriend.
Since she and fellow fitness coach and Instagram sensation Tomas Echavarria started dating in 2015, their relationship has been compared to that of Hip-Hop power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce. They represent the fitness world in the same way that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie represented Hollywood.
