Anfernee Simons Ties NBA Record to End Trail Blazers Losing Streak

The Portland Trail Blazers took on the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Tuesday night.

The Blazers were on a five-game skid, while the Pacers were on a three-game skid.

So the Blazers were desperate to end their losing streak, and they did so thanks to Anfernee Simons’ brilliant shooting.

SIMONS SET A FRANCHISE RECORD AND TIED AN NBA RECORD WITH THREE-POINTERS IN A 133-112 WIN OVER THE PACERS.

His brilliant shooting, along with that of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, was critical to the victory.

This put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Both Teams have a Strong Start

Both teams got off to a good start, going head to head throughout the first quarter, 35-34.

For the first quarter, the Indiana Pacers led the Blazers by one point.

CJ McCollum opened the game with a jumper for the Blazers, and Caris Levert responded with a jumper for the Pacers.

Portland trailed the Pacers until 2:12 left in the first quarter when Anfernee Simons gave the Trail Blazers the lead after heating up from behind the line.

T.J. McConnell of the Pacers responded with a jumper, giving the Pacers the lead back.

Both went back and forth for the lead, with McDermott hitting the final shot of the quarter to give the Pacers a one-point lead.
