Alyana Gomez pursued a career in journalism and broadcasting by channeling her passion for news writing and storytelling. She had always wanted to work in front of the camera since she was a child.
The Emmy Award winner has covered everything from terrifying tornadoes to high-profile murder trials. For the time being, she is an essential member of KTVU’s Action News Team.
In October 2016, she began working as an anchor and reporter for the channel in the San Francisco Bay Area.

With her alluring height and fanatically fit body, it’s difficult to believe she’s a true foodie. She balances her food addiction with a high-energy Zumba workout.

Education and Employment
She began her professional career soon after finishing her formal education. In 2010, she graduated from Salisbury University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
The newcomer began reporting on a variety of topics and was eventually named the recipient of five Associated Press awards for Enterprise reporting, spot news, and in-depth coverage.
Even more determined than before, Alyana went on to work for major networks such as Action News Jax, WMDT 47 NEWS ABC, Cox Media Group, and NBC Connecticut before landing at KTVU.
Her average salary as an anchor and reporter at KTVU is estimated to be $42K.

Today, the happily married couple live in Oakland, California with their two children, a boy named Weston and a beautiful daughter, Mila Jade Gonzalez, born a few days before Valentine’s Day on February 12, 2018.
