All You Need To Know About Meteorologist Cheryl Scott Including Her From Bio, Relationships, Career, Net Worth, and more!

Cheryl Scott is a TV meteorologist and geologist who works for ABC 7 Eyewitness News in Chicago. She is also a member of the American Red Cross board of directors.

Cheryl Scott has previously worked as a weather reporter for WMAZ-TV in Chicago, NBC 5 in New York, and WBIR-TV in Tennessee, where she was a weekend meteorologist.

Early Life

On the 29th of January, Scott celebrates her birthday. She was born in the state of New Jersey in 1985. She had two elder brothers when she was growing up. Any information about her family and early childhood, on the other hand, remains a mystery. He stands at 5 feet and 6 inches in height.

Cheryl earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Sciences from Brown University in 2007. Her meteorological studies were also completed through Mississippi State’s Distance Learning Program, which she completed in 2010.

Scott’s relationship with Dante Deiana Scott and Dante Deiana, a New Jersey native who joined the WLS weather team in 2014, had been dating for almost two years when Dante chose to change the name of their relationship. The couple met for the first time at a Chicago charity event.

The couple was hiking in the dormant Haleakala volcano in 2018. Dante dropped down on one knee at the 10,000-foot top and proposed to his girlfriend.

Scott had no idea the proposal was coming and was taken aback when he saw the engagement ring in his palm. Deiana, on the other hand, was well-prepared, having engaged a videographer and photographer to record the event. They toasted with champagne and watched the sunset after she answered yes to the proposal.

Scott later announced her engagement on Instagram with a series of photos, including one of a special moment during the proposal and another of the couple embracing, with Scott displaying her new ring.

Either the pair hasn’t married yet or they haven’t made it public. Since they did celebrate their 2-year ‘engageaversary’ in July 2020, we’re guessing the former.

And their 2021 wedding anniversary, with no mention of a wedding. But they don’t appear to be in a hurry, and neither do we.

Net Worth and Career

Scott began her career as an intern at WCAU-NBC10 in Philadelphia in 2006. After a year, she began working as a weekend weather reporter for WSEE-TV in 2007.

At ABC News, a meteorologist earns an average of $76,700 per year, with top earners earning more than $98,757. We may estimate Scott’s income to be between $70,654 and $83,764.

Her net worth is reported to be in the millions of dollars.
