Cheryl Scott is a TV meteorologist and geologist who works for ABC 7 Eyewitness News in Chicago. She is also a member of the American Red Cross board of directors.

Early Life

The couple was hiking in the dormant Haleakala volcano in 2018. Dante dropped down on one knee at the 10,000-foot top and proposed to his girlfriend.
Scott had no idea the proposal was coming and was taken aback when he saw the engagement ring in his palm. Deiana, on the other hand, was well-prepared, having engaged a videographer and photographer to record the event. They toasted with champagne and watched the sunset after she answered yes to the proposal.
Scott later announced her engagement on Instagram with a series of photos, including one of a special moment during the proposal and another of the couple embracing, with Scott displaying her new ring.
Either the pair hasn’t married yet or they haven’t made it public. Since they did celebrate their 2-year ‘engageaversary’ in July 2020, we’re guessing the former.
And their 2021 wedding anniversary, with no mention of a wedding. But they don’t appear to be in a hurry, and neither do we.
