Lil Yachty, an Atlanta rapper, made headlines in December with his then-new girlfriend, Selangie. The news was revealed in a series of posts on both of their official Instagram accounts.
However, both Lil Yachty and Selangie have remained silent about their romance in the months since. Selangie does not follow the rapper on Instagram as of this writing, although the rapper appears to have no problem following her.
Relationship Status
As previously stated, Lil Yachty and Selangie’s relationship was formed through a series of Instagram photos, the most recent of which was seen in February.
The two moguls, each in their own right, posed in similar attire behind a red automobile in the photo in question. The rapper sat in the driver’s seat, half-covering his face with his braided locks, while the model stood beside him in a more casual attitude.
Both were dressed in Prada trousers and racing coats. Their footwear options were a pair of New Balance sneakers for her and Adidas for him, despite the fact that they were comparable.
The couple spent their day at the Premier Gentleman’s Club in Magic City, Atlanta, according to the tags and caption.
The posts in question have subsequently been taken off from their individual Instagram accounts. This, combined with the fact that he has been unfollowed on social media, does not portray a positive picture of their relationship.
Selangie Arlene Henriquez is a self-made fashion mogul who is better known by her first name and titles such as entrepreneur, fashion designer, influencer, and tastemaker. SEL and GESEL are two successful fashion labels owned by the ambitious fashionista, who is only 25 years old.
The model, who is of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent and was born in New York City, began her career as a fashion designer right after high school, designing custom prom dresses from her mother’s home.
She later abandoned the custom market in favor of a far broader audience. She ultimately made it famous with her bikini line “Tinikini,” her spin on the classic string bikini, after a long struggle with production. The product would eventually be worn by Saweetie and Winnie Harlow.
Exposé, her collection, had made it to Paris Fashion Week by 2019. On September 28, she gave the aforementioned Exposé presentation in Paris in collaboration with Higher Dining.
Yachty was previously involved with female rapper JT before to his engagement with the fashionista. However, relations between the two deteriorated in 2019 when she was sentenced to prison for credit card theft.
According to BET, she even accused the Atlanta rapper of cheating. Yachty, on the other hand, emphasized that the woman with whom he was supposedly having an affair was a coworker.
A Baby Girl Has Arrived At Lil Yachty’s House
Lil Yachty made news for becoming a father without saying anything about his relationship with Selangie. According to TMZ news from October 20, 2021, the rapper gave birth to a baby girl in New York City in early October. There wasn’t much else said about the rapper’s baby or the mother of his child.
On that topic, none of Selangie’s recent Instagram images depict her with a baby bump or even a clue that she is expecting a child. So, at this point, a Lil Yachty-Selangie breakup looks extremely plausible.
Even more so because, according to one of his recent Instagram posts, the rapper has been attempting to be a stay-at-home husband and is seeking a wealthy wife to pamper him.
