Brooke Valentine, the American singer best known for her breakthrough single “Girlfight,” is now married. Since their appearance on the reality show Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood in July 2017, she has been openly linked to her husband Marcus Black.
Confirmation of the Wedding
Brooke Valentine and Black may have already married, according to the Atlanta Black Star source, after the singer shared photographs of herself wearing a wedding band on Instagram in February 2019. The post, which was uploaded on February 20, 2019, drew a lot of attention from her admirers, who began to speculate if she had secretly married the rapper.
When a fan asked, “Are you married yet sis and are you still celibate?” the Houston native revealed that she was married. “Yes and no,” Valentine wrote in response to that query.
When a fan claimed that the singer and Black were not married, the reality star urged that the fan not place too much faith in the internet’s facts. Valentine also disclosed in another comment response that her wedding to her spouse, who is from Chicago, Illinois, will not be aired on the show Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. The ‘Long as You Come Home’ singer earlier left the program after becoming pregnant with her and her husband’s baby, Chi Summer Black.
Past Relationships
Valentine’s previous relationships and children include a partner with whom she had her first kid, a son named London, in 2010. Her son was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and hemiplegia shortly after delivery.
In an interview with Vibe magazine in May 2012, the singer revealed a few information about the baby daddy and their relationship. Despite not being married to her son’s father, she stated that they had a wonderful relationship. The singer also stated that he was a very quiet individual who assisted her in raising their son.

Booby Gibson, a former Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood castmate, was once linked to the 36-year-old singer.
Black, too, has a daughter called Brooklyn from a previous relationship.
Together, Valentine and Black’s First Child In 2019, the couple welcomed their first child, Chi Summer Black. However, they kept the birth of their daughter [along with the entire pregnancy] a secret until the singer’s spouse announced the joyous news on Mother’s Day 2019.
On May 12, 2019, Black shared a photo of him and his daughter with the public, explaining how he persuaded his wife to share the news.
He captioned the photo, “I went back and forth all day on whether or not I was gon upload this but I mean… it’s Mother’s Day darling.” “I just can’t let the day go by without publicly thanking you for our princess,” he continued. “I thank God for you, and I’m looking forward to this new adventure.”
Valentine and Black are currently married and reside with their three children, Chi, Brooklyn, and London.
